You may see a red screen in Safari or Firefox on Mac, if you have limited free memory on your laptop. To fix this, here is the recommended options:

Option 1: Try Chrome Instead

Try Chrome browser instead. It handles memory better than other browsers.
You can download it for free here.

Option 2: Reduce memory usage

If you prefer to keep using Safari, you'll need to increase free memory, by:

  1. Closing all other open tabs in Safari (this is usually enough)
  2. Closing all other running programs (e.g. Office/Mail etc.)

After freeing up memory, try to reload the simulation. This usually solves it.

Option 3: Check minimum requirements

Finally, if you still experience the issue, it may be because you have less than 4GB of memory on your laptop, which is one of the minimum system requirements for using Labster. Please check the page above, to make sure you use a laptop that meets the minimum requirements.
