This is related to the graphic cards driver, and either:

  1. Disabling Hardware Acceleration, orΒ 
  2. Upgrading the drivers should solve this.

We are working on an upgrade so that students don't have to do this (it's relatively rare, and only ~1 in 1000 experience this.
