The integration of Labster is done in two parts:
The first one is the most technical part and must be done by the LMS staff of your school. You won't be able to move forward in the implementation if this setup is not done properly.
Then when Labster is identified as a tool in your LMS, you can add our simulations into your course so your students can access & run them!
After your LMS Admin successfully configured Labster as an LTI Tool, you just need to upload the simulations to your course and publish them to your assignments.
You can find the full guidelines for each LMS:
Our Implementation team should have provided you with all the information that you need, please contact your Implementation Specialist if you have any doubt.
1. First of all, you need to download a common cartridge (zip file).
To download your common cartridge, you will need access to the Faculty Resources Page, you can see how to download the file HERE.
If you haven't received a link to the Faculty Resources Page, reach out to your Labster representative.
Note: If you are using Safari to download the common cartridge file (.zip), it can automatically unzip the file, so the process will not work. Make sure you have disabled Safari settings from automatically unzipping files or use another browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox).
2. Upload the common cartridge in your course and adjust the settings!
Once you've downloaded your common cartridge file, you need to go to your LMS and upload the file from there. Adjust your settings if needed and that's it!
Note: If you are not sure where to find the downloaded common cartridge file:
- Navigate to your ''Downloads'' folder (or check what is your default folder when downloading files);
- Your common cartridge file will look something like this: (starts with "cc_" and ends with "ZIP file")
