You may experience that a student only sees a Resume button after pressing Start.
This happens because Labster cannot go into fullscreen due to iframe restrictions.
You can see below that the simulation is loaded within an iframe, as the page URL is not on labster.com's servers.

Course Instructor: Setup assignment to open in new tab/window

Only the course instructor can fix this. It is easily fixed by updating the Labster simulation links / URLs, so that they open up in a new blank window.
See examples below for both Canvas and Blackboard.

Canvas Solution

1. Edit Simulation Assignment

2. Check "Load this tool in a New Tab"

3. Save. Done.

4. Repeat for all simulation assignments.

After this, students will be able to play the simulation in full-screen.

Blackboard Solution

BB Learning Modules Not Supported

IMPORTANT: Make sure you do NOT use Blackboard Learning Modules.
Use instead Blackboard Course Content. This is due to a bug in BB Learning Modules, which doesn't correctly launch LTI apps in a new window (documented by BB here)

BB Course Content

In Blackboard Course Content, simply:

1. Edit each simulation assignment, and 

2. Choose the option "Open in new window" and 

3. Press Submit.

4. Repeat for all simulation assignments.
