Google is dropping support of its virtual reality platform (Daydream).
As a result, Labster will pause all support for our virtual reality (VR) simulations as of January 1, 2021. Our focus will be to grow and improve our web-based virtual labs.
💻 Web Simulations 💻
Labster's web-based virtual lab simulations offer students a powerful, interactive, and immersive virtual learning experience with the same great content and outcomes as the VR solution in a simpler, easier to use, and easier to access format. Instead of a headset, all students need to play our virtual labs is a computer and an internet connection.

🚀 Focusing on Student Impact 🚀
VR can be a powerful tool for learning, but web simulations currently have a much greater impact on a far larger number of students. This is especially important during the fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic, as Labster works to provide the best possible learning experience to millions of students as part of our mission to empower the next generation of scientists to change the world.
Labster may re-release a VR experience to our clients in the future if there is greater stability in the market and necessary support from hardware and software VR providers.
