(Admin) How to configure the LTI 1.3 tool for Sakai

Prerequisites

  • You must have Administrator credentials for the Sakai installation to be able to set up the LTI 1.3 tool.

  • You must have received a custom tool URL from your Labster Customer Success Manager. This is the URL that you will need to apply on step 6 of the registration process.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. LMS Admin must then Go to the Administration Workspace

  2. Click External Tools

  3. Click on the LTI Advantage Auto-provision button

  4. Give the tool a name (any name will do)

  5. Click-use LTI auto-provision button in the top right

  6. Enter the Registration URL

  7. Review Form

    1. Set frame height to 800

    2. Under privacy settings, checkmark both privacy settings boxes

    3. Select all services

    4. Select The tool can receive an LTI launch

    5. Select The tool can receive a Content-Item or Deep-Link launch

    6. Select Allow the tool to be one of the assignment types

8. Click Save
