Where to apply the voucher code?

Here's how to apply the voucher code you bought from your school bookstore & what to do if you have any issue with it

Labster voucher is a 10-digit code that is exclusive to you and to a particular course. That means that you only need to enter it once per course.
Voucher codes are sold only by the school or campus's bookstore.


How to enter your voucher code?

This will work differently for users who access Labster through their LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, Moodle, Sakai, Schoology, Google Classroom, etc.) or directly through the Course Manager (my.labster.com).

School Portal / LMS

  1. Login to your LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle..) as you would normally do.

  2. Access your Course or Assignment. Labster's simulations are embedded in your course content, and they are posted as links. Typically, you can find the simulations as assignments in the course content > Assignments, Modules, or the Instructor's Syllabus.

  3. Launch a simulation from within your course

On the loading screen, Apply the voucher code

Note: Please check the assignment's start date as the option to apply the voucher code will be available only once the assignments are unlocked.

Accessing the assignments via a direct link or URL will not work. See screenshot below

Course Manager

  1. Login to your account through the website - my.labster.com.

  2. On the left-hand section of the Dashboard select a course, and go to "Assignments". Please check out our article How to Purchase Access Through Labster's Course Manager for more information.

  3. Launch a Labster simulation.

  4. On the loading screen, hit "Purchase Access" > "Pay by Voucher"

  5. Then you will be prompted to enter your voucher code.

An issue with your voucher code?

Voucher not received

If you have purchased a voucher but haven't received it yet, contact the bookstore directly to confirm with them the status of your order. Codes can be sent by mail or email, and each bookstore decides on the method of delivery.

Error message while applying the code

If you receive an error message when you apply for your voucher, contact our support team with the code and proof of payment. We will be happy to help you!
