1. Can I try Labster’s virtual lab simulations prior to buying a license?
Yes! We offer a 30-day free trial to all eligible educators. With our free trial, not only can you access our full catalog of 250+ simulations and learning supplements, but you can also create courses and add your students. 2. Who is eligible for Labster’s free trial?
Most educators within higher education and high school are eligible to sign up for our trial.
Students are not eligible to sign up for our trial. If you are a student who believes Labster may fit your school/course needs, please feel free to encourage your instructors to sign up. We're always happy to have you on board!
Please note: Current Labster customers and educators that had access to Labster in the past are not eligible to sign up for the trial. Please reach out to our Customer Support team if you have any questions.
3. How do I get access to Labster’s free trial?
Our free trial provides eligible educators with 30-day access to our full ecosystem of learning and teaching resources, including more than 200+ virtual lab simulations.
To sign up for the trial, simply visit https://www.labster.com/free-trial and click on Sign Up For Free.
You will be required to provide some basic information so we can verify your status as an educator, including an educator link (LinkedIn, ResearchGate, etc.) and an institutional email address. No credit card or financial information is required to sign up for the trial!
If you are an educator but do not have an institutional email address, please reach out to our Sales team directly by filling out this form.
4. I work for a publishing company, can I get access to Labster’s free trial?
At this time, access to our free trial is only for eligible educators. If you are a publisher, please reach out to Mark Michelson, Head of Strategic Partnerships at mmichelson@labster.com.
5. How soon will I receive access to Labster’s Free Trial?
Although most requests are reviewed and approved shortly, sometimes it might take up to 48 hours to approve your application due to time zones and business hours.
Additionally, in some cases, our Customer Support team may reach out via email to request additional information in order to validate your status as an educator.
6. My free trial access is expiring. What can I do?
Labster’s free trial has a 30-day duration. Please contact your assigned Sales Representative to discuss additional options to continue enjoying the full Labster experience.
7. What is included in Labster’s free trial?
Labster’s 30-day free trial includes access to:
Our full catalog, which includes 250+ virtual lab simulations
Instructor-only dashboard
Ability to create courses and add students
Supplemental material, including lab manuals, 3D images, and theory pages

8. How can I buy a Labster license after using the trial?

9. If I decide to buy a Labster license, can I integrate it with my Learning Management System (LMS)?
Absolutely! Labster integrates with all major LMS (Learning Management Systems) so that educators can use their gradebooks to track students' performance data and students can keep a record of their work. Labster is compatible with Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, Google Classroom, Schoology, Sakai, and Brightspace / D2L.
