Redirected to login page while loading simulation or "E1002 - Missing Validation Cookie"

You have to enable the cookies in your browser.

If you are playing Labster from your school LMS and you are redirected to the login page after loading the simulation or getting a E1002 error message then it's a cookies settings issues.

Here are the instructions to enable cookies in your browser

🌐Instructions for Google Chrome:

💻 On your Computer:

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. At the top right, click the three dotsMore > Settings Settings

  3. Under "Privacy and security," click Site Settings.

  4. Under "Content", click Third-party cookies.

  5. Select Allow third-party cookies.

  6. Then disable Send a "Do Not Track" request with your browsing traffic.


📱On your iPad:

  1. On your iPad, open the Chrome app.

  2. At the bottom right, tap More, marked as three dots, and then Settings.

  3. Tap Cookies, Site Data, and check it to allow cookies.

  4. Tap Done.

🚩Labster is exclusively compatible with Google Chrome version 114 and higher.

🌐Instructions for Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox.

  2. Click on the three horizontal lines located in the top-right corner of the browser window. This will open a menu.

  3. From the menu, click on the 'Settings' tab and select the 'Privacy & Security' section in the left pane to access the privacy settings.

  4. Select the 'Custom' profile and untick the 'Cookies' option

  5. Click on the 'Reload All Tabs' option.


🌐Instructions for Microsoft Edge:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. At the top right, click the three dotsMore > Settings Settings

  3. From the left panel, click Cookies and site permissions.

  4. Under Cookies, click Cookies and site data.

  5. Enable Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended).

  6. Disable Block third-party cookies.

    Tracking prevention in Microsoft Edge - Edge has a privacy feature called Strict tracking prevention. It is also recommended to disable this feature, and switch it to Basic or Balanced.

  7. From the left hand panel of the Settings page, click
    Privacy, search, and services > Tracking prevention

  8. Select Basic or Balanced
