🖥️ Instructions for Desktops, Laptops or Chromebooks
If you are accessing Labster on a Desktop, Laptop or Chromebook device, enabling browser cookies will depend on the browser that you are using.
🌐Instructions for Google Chrome:
Open Google Chrome.
At the top right, click the three dots
> Settings
Under "Privacy and security," click Site Settings.
Under "Content", click Third-party cookies.
Select Allow third-party cookies.
Then disable Send a "Do Not Track" request with your browsing traffic.
🚩Labster is exclusively compatible with Google Chrome version 114 and higher.

🌐Instructions for Mozilla Firefox:
Open Mozilla Firefox.
Click on the three horizontal lines located in the top-right corner of the browser window. This will open a menu.
From the menu, click on the 'Settings' tab and select the 'Privacy & Security' section in the left pane to access the privacy settings.
Select the 'Custom' profile and untick the 'Cookies' option
Click on the 'Reload All Tabs' option.

Open Microsoft Edge.
At the top right, click the three dots
> Settings
From the left panel, click Cookies and site permissions.
Under Cookies, click Cookies and site data.
Enable Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended).
Disable Block third-party cookies.
Tracking prevention in Microsoft Edge - Edge has a privacy feature called Strict tracking prevention. It is also recommended to disable this feature, and switch it to Basic or Balanced.
From the left hand panel of the Settings page, click
Privacy, search, and services> Tracking prevention
Select Basic or Balanced
📱Instructions for iPads
Open the iPad Settings app and go to Safari. Disable the following options:
Block All Cookies
Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
Block Pop-ups **(Note: If it seems like a setting is missing, scroll to the "advanced settings" section in Safari settings, as it should be there.)
Some of these settings may already be disabled, but it's important to double check to ensure that the app will work properly.
2. Next, please go to the Chrome section in the Settings app and enable
Allow Cross-Website Tracking
3. Lastly, open the Chrome browser and click the 3 dots to head to the Chrome browser's settings:
From the settings, head to the Content Settings section and turn off "Block Pop ups".

Once these steps have been completed, please restart your iPad to ensure that those setting changes go through. After that, please sign back into your course through the Chrome app and you should now see a "play in app" button when attempting to launch that simulation!If any issues persist, please record a screen-recording of these settings, as well as what the error looks like when you attempt to access the simulation from your course. Then, send that to customer.support@labster.com, as that should help us quickly pinpoint the issue and find a resolution!
